[11:56] <axrfnu> that is, in my current situation the kernel is loaded, detects the network devices but then stops which cdrom detection
[11:56] <axrfnu> passing the verbose flag as kernel parameter did not yield any further insight
[11:57] <axrfnu> and the strange thing is, that from time to time the same setup boots fine an installs a system successfully (needless to say that there were no changes made between a successful and an unsuccessful boot).

[11:58] <axrfnu> fai-version is 3.4.7, boot-kernel is the squeeze-default (2.6.32)
