[18:34] I'm using a debian unstable with fai-server and w/ PXE/TFTP/BOOTP installed and am trying to get a qemu virtual box to run an FAI install. kernel is linux-image-3.1.0-1-486. [18:35] it looks to me as if the kernel panic occurs just as the box should run init [18:37] it reports the network successfully and goes on to show the hard drive stats then immediately reports 'kernel panic - not syncing' [18:37] jmux (~jan-marek@lhm246.muenchen.de) left irc: [18:48] It does better if I boot to a fai-cd, it aborts with 'FAI: installation aborted.' - which I determined was because init runs /etc/init.d/fai-abort.
