[10:01] hi folks [10:02] i possibly ran into a bug related to nis domains [10:04] when i set 'option nis-domain "some-nis-domain"' as dhcp option, YPDOMAIN is set properly and the related class script echos "NIS YPDOMAIN" | tr '.a-z-' '_A-Z_' [10:05] just as expected [10:05] but when the nis-domain contains a '+' sign, it doesn't work anymore [10:07] anymore, because i successfully did quite a lot of installations with exact the same nis-domainname, which unfortunately contains a '+' sign :( [10:09] it looks like this problem was introduced with one of the more recent versions of FAI [10:09] currently i use 3.4.7 from koeln repository to setup a squeeze system [10:13] i tried to find the code snippet in fai, which actually defines $YPDOMAIN, but all i found was dhclient-perl [10:14] which namely deals with $YPDOMAIN [10:15] but it looks just like the old one from lenny [10:15] so where could this changed behaviour come from? [10:15] does anyone have a clue?
