[10:09] I have a working fai setup, but when I put /boot onto lvm (over raid1) GRUB_PC/10_setup fails. I can manually step in and chroot /target; grub-install /dev/sda and get a running system. How would I go about automatically discovering the correct drive from BOOT_DEVICE="/dev/vg00/boot" ? [10:15] I'm gurrently installing to a degraded raid 1 array, but I don't think that that should be an issue? [13:31] hi [13:32] is there a easy one liner to add a line before another - in this case add "ntpdate -db myntpserver" before exit 0 in the rc.local [13:33] i could create an awk or sed script but i assume there is a better solution [13:34] falko: why whould sed be hard to use? [13:35] falko: sed -i 's/exit 0/foo\nexit0/' /etc/rc.local [13:35] its not hard but i thought something like "ainsl -some -option" would be more readable [13:58] verwilst (~verwilst@router.begen1.office.netnoc.eu) left irc: Quit: Ex-Chat [15:49] Mrfai_ (~lange@malzmuehle.informatik.uni-koeln.de) left irc: Quit: leaving [16:09] _julian (~quassel@hmbg-5f767bb8.pool.mediaWays.net) left irc: Ping timeout: 480 seconds [16:19] _julian (~quassel@hmbg-4d0682fc.pool.mediaWays.net) joined #fai. [17:06] there seems to be a "df " output at the and of the fai installation there i got "tmpfs .... 0 100% /target/var/lib/dpkg" is that a problem ? [17:08] the directory is unmounted after i press CTRL+C to avoid the reboot [17:29] i wrote a check to disable the ramdisks with less than 500MB RAM and now my installation is faster *confused* :) [17:58] falko (falko@orwell.qc.chemie.tu-darmstadt.de) left #fai (Konversation terminated!).
