10:22 falkohi
11:05 Mrfaihi
11:39 falko i played a bit with hooks to stop an installation but i coulndt make it foolproof (e.g. i put the FAI-crossover-cable into the wrong server it - the hook creates a while loop that does nothing but if a put a keyboard to the server and press ctrg+c in a fit oof stupidity the installtionprocess continues :( )
12:06 Mrfaioften you need to call skiptask in a hook
12:57 falkofind . -type f -exec grep skiptask {} \; => no results in the wiki ther is only a "And don't forget to call skiptask."  is there more documentation ?

14:18 h01gerthe setup-storage manpage is barely usable with the formatting as it is
14:18 h01gerafter reading it i have no idea where to put "preserve-lazy"
14:31 h01gerfwiw, http://fai-project.org/doc/man/setup-storage.html doesnt have formatting issues but is still unclear to me
14:31 h01germikap, ^
14:37 falkothx@MrFai that was what i needed
14:45 oz_h01ger: | preserve_lazy:[[:digit:]]+(,[[:digit:]]+)*
14:45 oz_says -> /* preserve volumes -- unless these dont exist yet */
14:45 oz_I had problems with this too, iirc.
14:45 oz_aber the formatting could be better, yes.

14:51 h01geroz_, logical /home  100-50%  ext3  rw,noatime,nosuid,nodev       createopts="-L home -m 1" tuneopts="-c 0 -i 0"
14:51 h01geri want to lazy_preserve that
14:51 h01gerhow do i rewrite this?
15:06 oz_h01ger: dunno, I worked around that, iirc

15:06 h01ger?
15:12 oz_holger: http://paste.debian.net/122779/
15:13 oz_maybe you can change & use that

15:22 h01geroz_, thanks + wow
15:22 h01geri would have never put it gthere
15:26 h01gerhttp://paste.debian.net/122782/ doesnt work
15:30 h01gerdisk_config hda preserve_always:6,7 disklabel:msdos bootable:3
15:30 h01geris from the examples
falko (falko@orwell.qc.chemie.tu-darmstadt.de) left #fai (Konversation terminated!).
Action: h01ger moves preserve_lazy up front
Nick change: fd -> WofFS
15:36 h01gerits preserve_lazy:10 as its logical partition 10
15:37 h01germikap, then the first example in the manpage doesnt really make sense. why preserve /usr and /var?
