[08:21] Mrfai: ever encountered issues when setting up multiple encrypted partitions with cryptsetup using /dev/urandom due to lack of entropy ? [08:26] I never encrypted partitions yet [08:27] I had hoped someone would have run into this issue before [08:28] what happens is that I have a swap, /tmp and /var/tmp partitions created as swap and tmp [08:29] and _sometimes_ it fails to mount the partitions because on reboot there isn't enough entropy to generate the key from /dev/urandom [08:29] should I file a bug for this? [08:31] DanFrincu: you can start an entropy gathering daemon to prevent this [08:32] I think ekeyd-egd-linux should do the trick [08:32] oz_: my thought point there [08:34] I'll look into this, 10x 4 the tip [12:57] anyone got a hint how to uninstall polkitd? [20:15] has anyone adapted FAI to use an initrd and copy a NFS exported fs to a local disk at runtime? [20:16] s/runtime/provision-time [20:35] fai doesn't run in the initrd, it runs in a nfsroot [20:36] but, it wouldn't be hard to write a script and put it in a initrd to just do some commands, like sfdisk, mkfs, mount ... [20:37] for example, i wrote a initramfs hook to wipe harddrives before decommisioning them.
