12:22 nicanybody running fai in version 3.4.5 on debian squeeze? wanna install lenny and squeeze. if client will be installed with squeeze everything is fine. with lenny the client drops into busybox shell on intallation. i copied base.tgz from nfsroot of lenny to config/basefiles/LENNY.tar.gz and created an entry in config/class/50-host-classes. anything i still miss?

14:49 nicmrfai: now i am running debian squeeze with fai 3.4.7. i copied base.tgz from nfsroot to config/basefiles/LENNY.tar.gz and created an entry in config/class/50-host-classes. same for squeeze. if client will be installed with squeeze everything is fine. with lenny the client drops into busybox shell on intallation.anything i still miss?

14:56 Mrfaiwe need more info. Is it dropping into busybox when the installation starts, or after the installation finished and the new system boots from hard disks?
15:05 nicwhile installation starts
15:14 Mrfaiwhat did you changed besides adding the LENNY.tar.gz? I guess you are using a different nfsroot when installing lenny?
15:29 nicshall i post my config on pastebin?

15:30 MrfaiJust say if you are using a different nfsroot and/or kernel when booting the installation for lenny
15:32 nicsure
15:32 nicdifferent nfsroot and kernel 2.6.26-2-486 instead of 2.6.32-5-486 like with squeeze
15:34 Mrfaiif you have created the two nfsroot using the same /etc/fai files, I guess you are missing the aufs kernel modules, which are needed for 2.6.26 but are already included in 2.6.32.
15:34 MrfaiHave a look at /etc/fai/NFSROOT. There's a comment on lenny packages
15:34 MrfaiI suggest to make a copy of /etc/fai for e.g. /etc/fai-squeeze or /etc/fai-lenny
15:35 Mrfaithen use -C when calling fai-setup or make-fai-nfsroot
15:35 nicdid that
15:35 nicbut lets have a look at /etc/fai/NFSROOT
15:39 nick uncommented # linux-image-486 aufs-modules-2.6-486 in /etc/fai-lenny-i386/NFSROOT and called make-fai-nfsroot -v -C /etc/fai-lenny-i386
15:39 niclets see
15:41 nicseems to work properly big thanks
15:44 Mrfaino problems
