11:33 Winkiehey gents, so I have an interesting issue
11:33 WinkieI have a machine with 4 ethernet interfaces, it DHCP boots off what linux sees as eth3
11:33 Winkiei have an ethernet cable in eth0 and eth3
11:33 Winkiebut when i boot it and point it to our FAI server, it hangs after /scripts/live-premount
11:34 Winkieany suggestions on where i can start debugging? :)
11:41 mgoetzewell, you could plug in more internet cables :)
11:41 mgoetzeer ethernet
11:42 mgoetzeotherwise, maybe tcpdump on your fai server to see whether anything arrives
11:51 Winkiemgoetze: yeah i'm thinking that's my next step, but for now i'm just using a debian installer PXE boot i had lying around
11:51 Winkieah well
11:51 Winkieno big deal, they won't be reinstalled regularly
12:55 mikapMrfai: regarding the asciidoc: it fails on unstable

15:24 mikapMrfai: no, couldn't figure it out
15:30 charleswhen I use fai-mirror , it does not include webmin package in /files/scratch/debmirror/pool/w/ which I installed using apt-get install, note that previously I have installed it using dpkg --intall and used dpkd --Remove to remove it. It is included in the package_config list as webmin. Any suggestion ? thank you.
15:44 oz_charles: have you checked software.log?
16:31 charleswhere can find the software.log
16:35 charlesthe file does not exists after searching using find / -name 'software.log'
16:45 Mrfaicharles: The fai guide explains where the log files are stored.
17:36 charlesif add webmin package in the package_config , do I need to run fai-setup again fai-mirror is enough ?
17:36 Mrfaifai-setup is not needed
17:38 charleswhich log file I need to check if fai-mirror has included webmin package ?
17:38 Mrfaiuse fai-mirror -v
17:39 charlesI did and I used  #fai-mirror -v -cDEFAULT,DEMO,FAIBASE /files/scratch/debmirror
17:42 charlesI added webmin in the FAIBASE FILE in package_config folder but still not adding the webmin package in  /files/scratch/debmirror/pool/w/
17:44 Mrfairead the output of fai-mirror -v
17:45 Mrfaisearch for webmin in it
17:50 charlesOK, do I need to add the line (deb http://download.webmin.com/download/repository sarge contrib) in /etc/fai/apt/source.list may this could be the problem ?
