[12:27] Mrfai: Has FAI 3.2.14 had any problems with really big filesystems? [12:28] When I boot the FAI kernel, it freaks out on sdb, which is a 4.5 TB device (hardware RAID array) [12:29] disk_config looks like this: http://pastie.org/304823 [12:30] sda is one hardware raid array, sdb is the other. [12:31] Though, it kinda looks like a kernel thing, not a FAI thing, because it hasn't gotten to the partitioner yet. [12:34] Perhaps it's the FAI kernel that doesn't have support for such large devices? [12:43] Mrfai: Ah, indeed it is not: # CONFIG_BLK_DEV_BSG is not set [12:57] CONFIG_BLK_DEV_BSG=y this is in my nfsroot with 3.2.14 and the plain Debian kernel 2.6.26 inside the nfsroot [12:58] Which kernel are you using in your nfsroot? [13:06] Ubuntu, 2.6.24-21-generic. But the config was generated by splitconfig.pl [13:19] never heared of splitconfig.pl [13:20] If ubuntu does not enable this option, you have to create a kernel package on your own. [13:23] Mrfai: Yeah, that's what I'm doing [13:23] THen I'll just update the nfsroot with make-fai-nfsroot -k [13:29] allee (~ach@dialin-212-144-129-174.pools.arcor-ip.net) joined #fai.
