I'm having problem with FAI installing a dbconfig-common dependent package (a private one) that tries to create and populate a PostgreSQL database. While the package depends on PostgreSQL server, it cannot be configured properly, because of FAI's divertion of start-stop-daemon - dbconfig-common is unable to connect to the database server, because it is not runn [15:41] BTW, as the channel topic asks for feedback on Setup-storage: it's very cool and generally works for me created non-trivial configuration with several MD arrays and LVM above it [15:43] but it has one issue with creating reiserfs filesystems - mkreiserfs program asks for confirmation before proceeding and I had to add "createopts=-q" to make setup-storage proceed non-interactively [15:52] we're not dead. i just don't have any clue about your question, and am kinda looking for an answer on that myself. :) [15:54] :) [16:00] define a class SOFTUPDATE, put the software into package_config/SOFTUPDATE, under "PACKAGES install REALCLASS".
