[19:57] hi all, I'm having trouble getting a system to fai using sata drives and the 2.6.18-fai-kernel ... [19:59] I have many sata based systems, all of which work fine, except for 2 models which use the Intel Buckner motherboard [20:00] If I set the BIOS for IDE/ATA compatibility mode, the system will boot/install, but I really don't want to do that since it impacts performance and obviates the point of having SATA in the first place. [20:01] I can get Knoppix (actually finnix) with a 2.6.18-5 kernel to boot up just fine. lsmod doesn't reveal anything overly different as far as I can tell. I'm stumped.
