The dhcp-server assigns an address to the demohost, but it doesn't seem like the host tries to fetch the pxelinux.0-file, it just exits pxe and boots normally. Where is a good place to start the troubleshooting? [13:24] the tftp-server works, and I have the filename "pxelinux.0"; definition in the dhcp-config [13:25] is "next-server" set? [13:25] apt-get install wireshark is your friend for troubleshooting [13:25] h01ger: I've tried both with and without [13:25] (or ethereal) [13:25] arkanoid, you need it [13:26] also increase debugging for the tftpd server [13:28] okay, I've added the next-server directive again, and in.tftpd is running in foreground with a couple of -v's... I'll see if anything useful pops up :) [13:30] if not, use ethereal/tcpdump [13:30] ethereal is running, but I know next to nothing about network debugging, so I'm not sure what to look after [13:31] jesper__ (~jesper@217.116.235.206) joined #fai.
